The full effect of J Street's influence became obvious today when Barack Hussein Obama's chosen "antisemitism czar", Hannah Rosenthal, slammed Ambassador Michael Oren for his candid remarks about Jeremy Ben Ami's left wing organization. Following up on her previous, troubling suggestion that it's Israel that causes antisemitism, the former board member of Americans for Peace Now, called Oren's comments "most unfortunate." Having been relegated to the margins of the American - Israeli dialogue in the past, with the ascension of President Obama and
J Street, the hard left among America's Jews is now ensconced and powerful, made even more influential through George Soros' money. Failing to see or acknowledge the direct link between hatred of Israel and hatred of Jews (e.g. the 2000 Durban Conference or the killing of Ilan Halimi in Paris three years ago), Rosenthal sees a hard, bright line between the two. Her failure to apprehend a causal relationship there reflects the official J Street line. The only other shoe to drop is the forthcoming blaming of Israeli policies for global antisemitism. The hard Left wants to destroy Israel. There's the misguided notion if only Israel gave more, peace would be just around the corner.
Its not going to happen in an age when Jew hatred is more widespread than ever before in human history.
