Dry Up the Jews

First day of "breakout sessions".  I attended the most popular morning session today presented by Peace Now:
West Bank Settlements: Obstacles on the Road to Peace.

The panel consisted of Haaretz's Akiva Eldar, Scott Lasensky of the United States Institute for Peace, and Hagit Ofran, Director of Settlement Watch (they're a bit like Machsom (checkpoint) Watch, both groups look through microscopes at the vermin settlers, sound alarm bells when one of them builds a nursery for their newborn and that sort of important statistical research.  Eldar's citations and statistics were as problematic as ever.  Hagit suggested that important archaeological excavations undertaken in Silwan were being conducted in a furtive, mole-like way by Jews, undermining the foundations of Palestinians' houses.  She stopped short of echoing the age-old canard by most Palestinians that Israel is tunneling under Al Aqsa mosque in an attempt to destroy it (that calumny fueled the 1920, 1936 and virtually every other jihad against Jews over the centuries).  I suggested to her that she start a new "Watch" program and call it "Settler Pregnancy Watch".  Since much of the natural growth of the scum that she identifies as settlers arises from their birthrate, she should compel Jewish women in the territories to undergo  pregnancy tests on a regular basis.  That way her group can quickly identify upcoming deliveries and bring the world's attention to this revolting trend.  She replied that it would be "problematic" but didn't rule it out.

Interviewed one the sad architects of the doomed Oslo proces, Ron Pundak, now of the Peres Center.  Audio to follow soon.

Hi Annie. I got your point: they spelled Barack wrong. Ha, ha. You've got a great sense of humor. Or wait, is it you who can't spell? Oh, gee, that's too bad. Can you at least think?

Actually, it is J-Street and the post-Zionist Left that is squirming, otherwise why the obessive fixation on the settlements, which have been built and supported by ALL governments in the past, Likud, Labor and Kadima? I'll tell the reason why the obsession-it is a pathetic attempt to transfer the guilt-it is the "progressive Left" who is now sitting on formerly Arab land taken in 1948, (e.g. the "progressive" Tel Aviv University sitting on the property of the old Arab village of Sheikh Munis). Now, since the Arabs started the 1948 war and brought their problems on themselves, I have no problem with TAU, but Jewish "progressives" do feel guilt about it anyway, so they hope by ranting about the Judea/Samaria settlers, people will forget about THEIR benefitting from it.
